Chopper rides at Dhordo & seven key destinations

Travellers and locals can now enjoy helicopter joyrides at Dhordo in Kutch and round trips to seven religiously and culturally important destinations within and around the state. Ahmedabad-based AeroTrans Services, which provides air charter services in Gujarat, announced the launch of its two new initiatives on Monday.

Dhordo is the venue of the Rann Utsav in Kutch, which attracts a large number of tourists and locals between November and February.

The joyride will be of around eight minutes, costing Rs 5,900 per person.

In the second initiative, the company announced helicopter roundtrips to seven destinations in and around Gujarat. These will be Palitana, Sarangpur, Somnath, Statue of Unity, Vadnagar, Nadabet, and Nathdwara in Rajasthan.

The round trips will be from the helipad at Meda Adraj village near Thol in Mehsana.
