Gujarat confidential: Mother Tongue Pride

At the four-day Bharatiya Vigyan Sammelan, which concluded in Ahmedabad on Sunday, researchers and innovators had the option of presenting their research papers in their mother tongue. The event was organised by Vijnan Bharati, an affiliate of RSS.

The Gujarat government and the organisers wanted to give an opportunity to even those who might not know English or have not studied science but still have come up with noteworthy innovations.
